Plan where to place the microphone

Where you place the microphone affects what ends up on the recording. For riding videos you can move the mic close to the engine or exhaust, and for talking videos close to the speaker. Choose a spot where the microphone and mount are not in the way, and watch out for hot surfaces and moving parts.

Test the sound before filming

Follow the product’s installation instructions and check the mounting before use. Make a test recording and adjust the microphone position and recording settings as needed.
